So Good But Tastes Like It’s So Bad

I tried something recently that I’ve been wary of. I’ve seen a lot of people using scrambled egg whites in their oatmeal and other sweet dishes and I just didn’t think I could do it. For me eggs are best savory or by themselves, sweet has never been an option. 

Then the other day I came home and needed a quick protein/carb/fat combination to fuel me for a night workout. I didn’t have much as far as protein in the house and eggs were my only option. I decided to finally give them a try to see if I could handle the egg texture as a sweet option. I heated up a baked sweet potato, added my scrambled eggs whites, and topped it all off with almond butter, cinnamon, and a drizzle of sugarfree syrup.

Oh. My. God.

I would be lying if I told you I haven’t had this every day since. It’s the absolute perfect pre- or post-workout snack. I’m reformed in my view on scrambled eggs and sweets……

…but in oats? Ugh, I need more time.
